突板(化粧板）とは

突き板（化粧板）とは無垢材を0.2〜0.6ミリ程度に薄くスライスした板で、主に見た目を美しくする目的で製品の表面に貼って使用します。

突板の主な用途
家具材：キャビネットやチェストの扉
外装材、内装材：壁面パネルや天井材
楽器材：スピーカーキャビネットや音響機器
突板のメリット
製品を無垢材で製作するよりもコストを抑えられる。
木目を生かしたデザイン性に優れている。
湿度や温度の大きな変化に強く、変形しにくい。
突板のデメリット
深い傷がつくと修正しにくい。
経年劣化することがある。
突板のはがれや剥離が起こる場合がある。

ウォールナット

突板(化粧板）加工工程をご紹介

  1. 突板(化粧板）を曲げる

    水で湿らせた突板（化粧板）を熱によって曲げます。

  2. 接着

    塗り残しのないよう、製品の表面に接着剤を塗布します。

    長物の場合はスプレッダー(糊付機、接着機）で接着剤を塗布します。

  3. 加熱圧着

    接着後、治具に固定し熱を加えることによって、余分な接着剤が押し出され、表面が均一で美しく仕上がります。

  4. サンディング

    ベルトサンダーで表面を研磨し、木目を出します。

  5. 手仕上げ

    さらにサンドペーパーで表面を整えます。

  6. 完成品
